Today: Anime Vegas begins, USS R'usstai volunteering, farewell to Star Trek: the Experience, lots of gaming

Happening today, Saturday, August 30:

• Anime Vegas convention opens at the Renaissance Hotel at 3400 Paradise Road in Las Vegas.
• USS R'uustai is volunteering at the Jerry Lewis telethon and is meeting with the USS Angeles to say goodbye to Star Trek: the Experience (last weekend open!)
• At the Little Shop of Magic there is a Pokemon tournament 12-5 PM, open board games 5-11 PM, and a Vs. Hobby League constructed event 5-9 PM.
